Jamar Butler Arrested For Weed
LORAIN, OHIO – Jamar Butler, the former Buckeye point guard who was recruited to play point guard but succeeded most when not playing point guard, was arrested last week for possession of marijuana. He joins a growing list of Ohio Mr. Basketball honorees that have had a rough time since high school graduation, like the deceased Emmanuel Smith and Jason Collier. ( Although it could be worse, he could be coaching in the Mid-American Conference – see Geno Ford).
Butler has really never recovered from his 1-for-7 performance in the national title game his junior year. His senior season was marred by getting frequently ripped when attempting to handle the ball at the top of the key – on the rare occasion he didn’t force a three point attempt from his right shoulder blade. On a positive note, it looks like decided to stop living that lie of his up on top. He had less hair his junior year of high school than Robin Roberts.
Although his driver’s license was suspended, the judge granted him work privileges. Now if only he could find a job to necessitate such privileges.

It is unfair. That police department’s mug shot photo department has decorations in it that make EVERYONE look guilty.
I see he plays for a team in Turkey, perhaps this incident will help expedite a trade to the Amsterdam Pro Team.
